International Day of Zero Waste 2025

The United Nations General Assembly made a significant move on December 14, 2022, by adopting a resolution that marks March 30 as the International Day of Zero Waste. Our unsustainable ways of producing and consuming are really damaging our planet. The fashion and textile industry, which is known for being resource-hungry and wasteful, is a key player in this environmental decline. This year’s International Day of Zero Waste aims to shine a light on waste in the fashion and textile sector, encouraging circular solutions with the theme “Towards Zero Waste in Fashion and Textiles.”
