Ladli Laxmi Yojana in Madhya Pradesh was started by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on 1 April 2007.
Seeing the success of MP Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Chief Ministers of other states also launched it in their states. Now the scheme is applicable in six other states besides MP.
