Indian-origin New Zealand cricketer Ajaz Patelhas been declared as theICC Men’s Player of the Month award for December 2021by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The left-arm spinner was nominated for the award alongside India openerMayank Agarwaland Australian pacerMitchell Starcbut beat them to it on the back of his incredibly rare feat. Meanwhile, ICC Women’s Player of the Month of December 2021 has no winner as no Women’s International matches were scheduled.
