About College
Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Institute of Technology and Engineering (Polytechnic), Pravaranagar (Loni) was established in August 1981. It is one of the first of its kind established on No Grant Basis in the State of Maharashtra. The necessity to establish a technical institution in the rural area was felt long back by the great visionary Late Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil.
