As per the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India has recorded the “highest ever” annual FDI inflow of USD 83.57 billion in 2021-22. In 2020-21, the inflow stood at USD 81.97 billion. The RBI has approved a dividend payment of Rs. 30,307 crore to the Centre for the fiscal year 2021-22.
