Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with UK PM Boris Johnson, launched ‘Infrastructure for the Resilient Island States’ (IRIS) on the sidelines of the climate summit in Glasgow, on Tuesday, 2 November.
It is aimed at achieving sustainable development through a systematic approach to resilient, sustainable, and inclusive infrastructure in Small Island Developing States. The launch of IRIS gives new hope, confidence, and satisfaction of doing something for the most vulnerable countries. Co-hosted by Australia and UK, the IRIS launch event saw over 100 attendees.
