Rahul’s age four years ago is six times of Mohan’s age after 10 years and sum of Rahul, Mohan and Amit after two years is 124 years. If Amit is three years older than Rahul, then what is the Amit’s age after 9 years?

Let Mohan’s age after 10 years = x

Let Mohan and Rahul’s present ages are (x –

10) and (6x + 4)

Amit’s age = 6x + 4 + 3

Amit’s age = 6x + 7 years

Sum of age after 2 years,

(x – 10 + 2) + (6x + 4 + 2) + (6x + 7 + 2) = 124

13x + 7 = 124

x = 9

Present age of Amit = 6x + 7 = 61 years

Amit’s age after 9 years = 61 + 9 = 70 years
