Sisuriya has been unveiled as the official election mascot of Dhubri district to promote voter participation ahead of the Assembly elections. The initiative aims to make electoral awareness more engaging and relatable for citizens.

Inspired by the river dolphin found in the Brahmaputra in the Dhubri region, the mascot reflects the district’s ecological identity while encouraging democratic participation. It symbolises the blend of environmental awareness with civic responsibility.
