India To Host Its First Multinational Air Exercise Tarang Shakti In August

IAF successfully test-fires BrahMos missile from Su30-MkI fighter jet

The Indian Air Force(IAF) has successfully conducted a test-fire of the live firing of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from a Su30- MKI fighter aircraft. The missile hit a decommissioned Indian Navy ship under close coordination with the Indian Navy. The BrahMos can be fired from submarines, ships, fighter jets and land. IAF successfully test-fires BrahMos missile from Su30-MkI fighter jet on Eastern seaboard 

The Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully carried out live test-firing of a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from a Sukhoi fighter jet, Su30 MkI, on the Eastern seaboard on April 19, 2022. The “live firing” of the missile was carried out in close coordination with the Indian Navy, the IAF said. The missile hit the target with accuracy and precision.

IAF inks MoU with IIT Madras to develop solutions to maintain weapon systems

The Indian Air Force (IAF) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for technology development and finding indigenous solutions towards the sustenance of various weapon systems. The partnership will significantly contribute in accelerating IAF’s indigenisation efforts towards enhancing sustenance capability, obsolescence management and achieving ‘Self Reliance’.
