The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Monday successfully launched Earth Observation Satellite EOS-04, into an intended sun-synchronous polar orbit of 529 km altitude. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch Chandrayaan-3 in August 2022. Chandrayaan-3 mission-related hardware and their tests are successfully completed. The year 2022 will also witness launch of major projects of ISRO like Gaganyaan and Aditya solar mission. Chandrayaan-1: India’s first mission to Moon, was launched successfully in 2008 from Sriharikota Chandrayaan-2 was launched in 2019.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully fired the high thrust Vikas engine that would power India’s first rocket that would carry humans. This qualification test of the Vikas Engine for the Gaganyaan human space mission was conducted by ISRO at Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu. More such tests on Vikas Engine will be conducted in the future by ISRO.
