Cabinet approves PLI scheme worth Rs 10,683 cr for the textiles sector

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for textiles for a budgetary outlay of Rs 10,683 crore to boost domestic manufacturing of man-made fibers (MMF), garments, and technical textiles.
