- The fantasy work is the long-awaited follow-up to her acclaimed 2004 debut Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell.
- The Women’s Prize for Fiction is one of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious literary prizes. It is awarded annually, since 1996, to a female author of any nationality for the best original full-length novel written in English.
