West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo retires from international cricket

West Indies star all-rounder Dwayne Bravo confirmed that he will retire from international cricket after the conclusion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign. The 38-year-old has earlier announced his plan to retire from international cricket after the conclusion of the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign. He played his last T20I match against Australia.

Bravo has played 91 T20s for the West Indies after making his debut against New Zealand at Auckland in 2006.

He also picked up 78 wickets with his medium-fast bowling and was effective with his variations in the death overs. Bravo was part of the West Indies teams that won the T20 World Cup in 2012 and 2016. Dwayne Bravo is the highest wicket-taker for the West Indies in T20Is.
