Explanation: As a part of the celebration of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week 2021’, the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) has launched a ‘Whistle-blower Portal’ on November 02, 2021. Significance of the Whistle-blower Portal: It will help the IREDA employees raise concerns related to corruption, fraud, abuse of power, etc. IREDA: It is a PSU under the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) established as a Non-Banking Financial Institution. It provides term loans for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
