The World Investor Week (WIW) is a global campaign promoted by theInternational Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO)to raise awareness about the importance of investoreducationandprotectionand highlight the various initiatives of securities regulators in these two critical areas. During October 4-10, 2021, the Securities and Exchange Commission (national coordinator), Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, National Futures Association, North American Securities Administrators Association, and supporters are working together with interested government agencies, localities, and organizations to promote World Investor Week 2021 (WIW 2021) and its goals in the United States.
In 2021, the5th annual WIWis being observed betweenOctober 04 and October 10, 2021.
The 2021 World Investor Week (WIW) campaign will be based on two themes:
- sustainable finance
- frauds and scams prevention
