Uttar Pradesh Govt Launches Nand Baba Milk Mission Scheme

Uttar Pradesh has launched the Nand Baba Milk Mission scheme at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore.

Aim: To provide milk producers the facility of selling their milk at a reasonable price in villages through dairy cooperative societies.

Under this mission, it is proposed to form a Dairy farmer producer organization (Dairy FPO) in order to facilitate the sale of milk in producers' villages itself. UP is a leading state in the field of milk development and milk production.
