The Indian government has apparently blocked at least 43 new Chinese apps in the country on national security grounds. It’s unclear which apps are affected, or from which digital store they were deleted.

These apps are banned for security and defense issues. As per the report that one of these apps was used as a medium to trigger violence in many states within India, these apps were attacked by Indian Government.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) banned apps on reports of stealing and transmitting user’s data in an unauthorized manner to servers that have locations outside India
