About college
Birla Institute Of Technolgy Patna Campus was established in the year 2006. The academic activities at the Patna Centre commenced in September 2006 with admission to the B.E. programmes in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Birla Institute of Technology, Patna symbolizes a faith and assurance in terms of quality of technical education and brilliant academic and industrial career which has been augmented continously since its iception in the year 1955.The institute centered at Mesra Ranchi with its sister wings spread over 10 campuses including three campuses outside India. Its calibre can be estimated by the fact that BIT was the first University of India which was called to establish its campus on a foreign territory.
