Nigeria’s Ambassador to the UN Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, elected as the next President of the 74th session UN General Assembly. He will succeed Maria Fernanda Espinosa. The industry body Sa-Dhan reported that the Indian microfinance sector is expected to register a more than 30% year-on-year growth to Rs.90,000 crore in 2018-19.
