The Defence Literature Festival ‘Kalam & Kavach 2.0’ was held on April 15, 2025, at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, organized by CENJOWS and HQ IDS, with the theme ‘Securing India’s Rise through Defence Reforms’.
The event focused on defence technology, including AI, cyber technologies, quantum computing, drones, space tech, and semiconductors.
It emphasized Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliance) in defence manufacturing, modernizing procurement policies, and multi-domain operations for better efficiency. Rajnath Singh declared 2025 as the Year of Reforms, aiming to transform the armed forces into a combat-ready, technologically advanced force.
