International Emmy Awards 2021

The49th International Emmy Awards ceremonytook place on November 22, 2021 at Casa Cipriani in New York City, recognizing excellence in television programs produced and aired originally outside the U.S., and non-English language US primetime program between the dates of January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020.

From India,Nawazuddin Siddiquiwas nominated for Best Actor for his performance inSerious Men,Sushmita Sen-ledAaryawas nominated forBest Drama and comedianVir Daswas nominated for Best Comedy.

However, India could not register a win in any of the above categories. Till date the only Indian show to bag an Emmy isDelhi Crimewhich won Best Drama in 2020.
