The International Cricket Council announced that Chief Executive Manu Sawhney will leave the organization with immediate effect.

The development comes months after Sawhney was suspended after an internal review, which was conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Sawhney became the ICC CEO in January 2019. He succeeded former South African cricketer Dave Richardson, who had held the position for 7 years.
