Maharashtra state government has launched Physically Handicapped (Viklang) Pension Scheme. In Maharashtra Handicap Pension Scheme, a disabled person in the age group of 18 to 65 years and having 80% disability is eligible.

Under Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme, specially abled people in Maharashtra state gets Rs. 600 per month as pension.
