Scheme: Urja Ganga Project
Key Facts about the scheme : Urja Ganga is a pipeline project which aims to provide eco-friendly fuel natural gas to households, vehicles and industries. The first phase of ‗Urja Ganga‘ taken up Jagdishpur – Haldia and Bokaro – Dhamra Pipeline project (JHBDPL). The pipeline is being executed by GAIL (India) Limited as a part of National Gas Grid for extending the Gas Energy Corridor in Eastern India. The Pipeline project will also be used for gas supply to 3 fertilizer plants in Gorakhpur, Barauni.
